Cheese Straws

What You Will Need

  • 500g grated Orkney cheddar
  • 400g flour
  • 225g melted butter
  • 30g English mustard
  • 15g cumin seeds
  • 10g salt
Cheese Straws

Pre-heat oven to 180°C

Mix all the dry ingredients and cheese then rub together

Add the mustard and butter and bind together

Set aside and chill for 30 minutes

Roll out the pastry until 2cm and cut in to straws

Cook for 5 minutes until golden brown
