Peel the potatoes and using a pastry cutter, cut into round cylinders.
Cover in water and salt lightly before bringing to the boil.
Simmer until cooked and remove from heat.
'Re-fresh' with cold water to stop the cooking progress.
Now cut the potato into rounds about 1cm thick.
Place a strip of ham on top with a sliced cherry tomato.
Add a piece of Orkney cheddar on top and grill until the cheese has melted and serve.
